Your preferences
Region, interests, saved stories, and the date of your last visit are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not a cross-device account. You can remove them by clearing this website’s browser data. Interest choices do not assert or verify anyone’s religious identity.
AISikhy community finder
Search queries are processed in your browser. If AI answers are enabled and you select “Create an AI answer,” your question and the matching public listings are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. The Sikh does not store your question or answer in its database. The request asks OpenAI not to store the response; provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Do not include personal or confidential information. We count AI requests in aggregate and apply temporary abuse-prevention limits.
Email launch list
If you opt in, we store your email address, selected region, consent version, and signup time. Email delivery has not started. We will use the list for the briefing and launch updates you requested, not sell it or share it with advertisers. You can request removal through our privacy request form. Include the email address to remove; we may need to verify the request.
Community submissions
We store the title, source link, message, and optional contact email you submit. These are private to the publication’s editor until reviewed. Please do not include private information about other people. We may contact you if you provide an email and clarification is needed.
Basic measurement and security
We count page views, return visits, saves, shares, source clicks, signups, and submissions in aggregate by day. These counters do not contain email addresses or article-level browsing histories. For form abuse prevention, the server temporarily uses a hash derived from a connection address and time window; this is not a permanent visitor profile. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
The site uses ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare hosting and database services. Google Fonts may receive normal connection information when fonts load. Embedded maps are provided by Google Maps and can receive normal connection information when loaded. Direction links open Google Maps; the site does not request or store your device location. External source and purchase links take you to sites with their own privacy policies. No advertising trackers are installed in this edition.
Requests and retention
We keep launch-list records until removal is requested or the list is retired. Submissions are retained while they are useful for editorial follow-up. For access, correction, or deletion requests, use the privacy request form. Preferences saved only in your browser must be removed on your device.
